TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms apply to your use of the Rovaro app. By creating a profile or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What Rovaro is
Rovaro is a group-drive companion: live convoy maps, push-to-talk, route planning and sharing, drive memories, and track-day timing at approved venues. It is a companion, not a navigation authority — road signs, law and common sense always take priority over anything the app shows.
2. Safety first
Never operate the app while driving. Set up your route, convoy and comms before you move, use voice features hands-free, and let a passenger handle anything that needs touching the screen. You are solely responsible for driving legally and safely. Track features are for use only at approved venues during organised, marshalled events, subject to the venue's own rules.
3. Age requirement
You must be 17 or older to use Rovaro. This is enforced at signup.
4. Your account and profile
Your profile (driver name, colours, vehicle, car name) lives on your device. You must not use names that are offensive, impersonate others, or infringe someone else's rights — the app filters obvious cases and we may remove content or leaderboard entries that slip through. If another driver's behaviour is a problem, report or block them from their profile card in the app — blocking is immediate and reports go to us for review.
5. Your content
Routes you publish, photos you share to a convoy, lap times you post and names you type remain yours. By sharing them through the app you give us a non-exclusive licence to store and display them to the people they are shared with (your convoy, or everyone for public routes and leaderboards). You can delete routes you published at any time from My Routes.
6. The SOS pin is not an emergency service
The SOS hazard pin only alerts members of your convoy inside the app. It does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number.
7. Accuracy and availability
Positions, ETAs, lap times and speeds come from phone GPS and are approximate. Maps and routing come from third-party providers and may be wrong or unavailable. The service is provided "as is", without warranties, and features may change or be withdrawn.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your driving, your reliance on in-app information, or service unavailability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and contact
